Why single women MUST vote
WHY SINGLE WOMEN MUST VOTE
Ruth Rosen, San Francisco Chronicle

Unmarried women are the demographic-swing group that could decide a close election, oust President Bush and alter the political landscape in Congress.

1. You should....
Single women have been ignored and even discriminated against by the RWers.

Get all your friends to vote.

2. Yes.. absolutely
While there are important issues on marriage that need to be resolved, the fact that demographically more (men & women) will either remain single longer, live their entire lives single, or return to live out their lives as singles is being ignored. There are issues that need to be considered and addressed. Give voice at the ballot box.

3. Pat Buchanan has even suggested that single women are contributing to the
decline of western civilization, because we have selfishly refrained from reproducing while in our 20s. I always vote-I just wish the candidates recognized that and gave me a tax break when they took office, but all breaks go to "families" or businesses.

celinda lake, stan greenberg.....same article I linked.

they know what they're talking about

had it not been for the media regrouping, and concentrating even more crap on Gore than they had before the dem convention, Greenberg would currently be a high order celeb on the political circuit, being heralded as the man who rescued Gore's moribund campaign in mid-summer, by turning him back toward a more populist bent.

lots of articles about that
