United States when all commercial flights were grounded, when
there was time for only minimal questioning by the FBI, and especially, when two of those same individuals had links to WAMY, a charity suspected of funding terrorism?

Why were bin Laden family members granted that special privilege, a privilege not available to American families whose loved ones were killed on 9/11?

3. Henry Waxman wants to know too

California Democrat Henry Waxman is calling on Attorney General John Ashcroft to reveal who cleared members of Osama bin Laden’s family and other Saudi citizens to leave the country immediately following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Citing press accounts and congressional testimony on the issue, Waxman says the public “needs reassurance” that the Bush administration conducted an “appropriate investigation” of the Saudis that were allowed to leave.

“If such investigation did not occur, the public deserves to know why,” Waxman said. The lawmaker, the ranking Democrat on the House Government Reform Committee, has been increasingly active in his minority oversight role.

6. I just asked my NM R Representative that exact question

and explained that Congressman Waxman was asking the question as well. I cc'd a copy to Waxman.
I put the question in the same letter as my justification for Bush being impeaced, censured at the least, for manipulating intelligence on Iraq war. I know these letters should be one issue only, but I had to add that question.
I expect drivel from my representative, but at least I'm not repressing!

7. There were two flights out of the US

for the bin Ladens

There was the "Phantom flight" out of Florida>Lexington, Kentucky>points east the day after 9/11 while all flights were grounded.

Three days after 9/11 a charter flight out of the Boston airport where the hijackers boarded their planes. The bin Laden's own a housing complex in Boston and the bin Laden's are active at Harvard providing scholarships, etc.

On Wednesday police in the city confiscated a car believed to belong to the hijackers -- they have confirmed that among items found inside was an Arabic-language flight manual.
Boston FBI officers say bin Laden has strong family ties in the city and a close-knit group of supporters.
Robert Fitzpatrick, former second-in-command at the FBI's Boston office, told the Associated Press Wednesday he had seen reports detailing scholarship funds at Harvard University that had been set up by one of bin Laden's brothers.
He said another relative owns six condominiums in an expensive complex in Charlestown, just outside Boston.
According to Fitzpatrick investigators have also interviewed drivers from a Boston taxi firm where two known associates of bin Laden once worked.
There are suspicions they may have had ties to airport baggage handlers, who in turn may have supplied weapons to the hijackers, the former FBI boss said.

FBI documents shown on BBC Newsnight last night and obtained by the Guardian show that they had earlier sought to investigate two of Osama bin Laden's relatives in Washington and a Muslim organisation, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), with which they were linked.
The FBI file, marked Secret and coded 199, which means a case involving national security, records that Abdullah bin Laden, who lived in Washington, had originally had a file opened on him "because of his relationship with the World Assembly of Muslim Youth - a suspected terrorist organisation".

This is an important point because it shows that Osama and his brothers interests aren't as dissimilar as the Saudi elites would like the world to beleive.

Osama's sister was intereviewed shortly after 9/11 and she argued that Osama has maintained close family ties vistiting on birthdays and funerals, etc.
