Boy, is bush in trouble.........
I went a message board this evening to try to get some info on a camera. It was one of the shop-at-home TV thingys. And I was shocked at what I read there. I must have read 30 posts and only ONE was positive for bush. Check this out:

http://www.hsn.com/com/forums/post_detail/default.aspx?sf=LB&tid=1188566&searchtext=&searchby=&searchin=

I checked the link and it worked for me.

I am soooo happy now!!

1. Repubs are
really tired of trying to defend him. They are ashamed and do not like it at all.

5. It is actually to their credit if they are ashamed.
We should make it as easy as possible for them to express their feelings about Bush.

2. Even the Pro-Bush ones show a bad sign
The only way they can prop up Bush is to tear down Clinton, as if he has anything to do with it.

19. that's cuz the repub's whole belief system is built on negatives
Even from day one when Bush was in office, the repubs never said "Bush is a great guy who will do great things for the country." It was all about vindication and payback over their perceived slights during Clinton.

And from what I hear, some repubs are still living off hatred from the Nixon era, too.

21. On Cspan - over and over
you hear their calls and they always say the same thing. That Bush is a "godly man" or "people can be proud again" and so on, but I have yet to hear them bring up ONE actual positive thing that he has done. Then half the time, they go into criticizing Clinton.

It's so strange, it really is like they wanted a religious leader or as figurehead or a prince as the president and now they have one, he can do any rotten thing he wants as long as he PRETENDS to be a good man.

7. Yeah it was HSN......
I didn't even know they HAD boards. So that caught my attention and when I saw they were talking about bush, I was fascinated. No they do not like the guy or anyone in his circle. And if I were to guess I would think most of them are Repubs. Or at least lean that way.

8. TELL me about it. I find criticism of Bush in places I never
would've expected to find it. People just seem so anxious to vent nowadays.

The oddest place was in an online game. I was goofing around with one of those online things at lunch the other day, and in the text window, a player put down Bush in some subtle way. The game just slowed to a crawl for a few minutes as everyone tossed in their own insults for W.

That was just a strange little interlude. I've had conversations with people at diners, the doughnut shop... even the frigging mechanic. People don't like this guy at all. The worm has certainly turned.

17. Me too...
boards that have nothing to do with politics at all. I am a daytime soap opera fan and when I have time I check out the boards for the soaps. I have often found lots of anti-bush stuff, people have really strong opinions and many of them really hate the guy and aren't shy about letting everyone know it.

11. We cant relax ...ever
Even if we are leading the polls by big margins.

Dems have a way of relaxing and letting up on an opponent when hes dizzy and stumbling. Huge mistake. We cant let up . We must keep writing letters and doing what we have been doing.

12. Amen to that!

No quarter.

Keep it up until the media starts talking about 'the next failed Bush Presidency'.

Once it tips, they will be on him like rabid weasels.

13. We can't let up
until our guy is sworn in as POTUS. Not one second before either. Then get ready for the onslaught. The same treatment that the last two Democratic Presidents had is awaiting the next one.

14. "The playas got played"
I heard it here first on DU, but that is, IMO, what happened on 9/11. Everything since then has been damage control.

his commented that he's concerned about jobs - his wife was just laid off, his brother has been laid off for a few months

he said "the only way we are going to have jobs is to make sure bush* doesn't have one in november..."

18. they just can't seem to understand that Clinton is gone
in spite of all the screw ups and disasters heaped upon the coumtry by Bush, in spite of all his lies, in spite of all the secrecy and trying to hide important decisions and now they were made from the people of this land, they bring up Clinton!

Not only is the entire logic of that especially weak , as they could just as well bring up any president from days gone by in an attempt to defend this present stupid man, but they also try to stomp on Hillary Clinton and drive her good name into the ground.

They cannot get over it--and it is really quite childish--these are the people who vote for a Bush--LOL they are still voting against Clinton!

20. Is Clinton gone?
You and I may think so, but manipulative pundits keep him alive by constantly focusing on Hilary Clinton - will she run this year, will she be VP, is she manipulating the primaries so she can win in 200s? And on and on; anything to get the middle and working classes to vote against themselves.;(

Just tell them that Clinton invented sex. They usually get the message.
