I'm glad that Newsom isn't backing down in the face of the Repugs, and this disproves arguements from Greens that he's a DINO. Could he be a candidate against Ahhnold in 2006? I'd love to see those two debate, but Ahhnold RINOishness could allow him to use triangluation.

Attorney General Bill Lockyer
Treasurer Phil Angelides
Comptroller Steve Westley
Congr Loretta Sanchez
Congr Jane Harmon

Lets allow Gavin a little more time so we can see what he's all about before anointing him anything. He's only been mayor a month or so.
