Did anyone read David Brooks' article?

I thought it had lots of food for thought? "If Kerry can speak the language of Truman and Kennedy, and stick with it. he will cross a basic threshold, and Americans will consider trusting him with their security." This is a true statement and one which I think we all should be able to see. See his article in today's New York Times. I should have provided a link and here it is:
