For all those who "will not vote for Kerry"
in November, do not come here and bitch about four more years of Bush. I still remember how gratified I was when Clinton won in '92. How, after 12 fuckin' years of Reagan/Bush, I finally had a new outlook on life. And now, after only three years of Junior, I have to read Democrats and progressives on this board piss all over our candidates? Can't we leave that to the Repugs?

1. I have a feeling Bush will lose easily
I hear from too many Repubs how much they dislike him. Most are simply going to abstain from voting for him.

If a few of us don't vote for Kerry, I seriously think it won't matter.

Bush is toast. This election will come down to who can best rally the troops to the polls. Bush inspires no one. He will lose because people that typically vote Republican will stay home.

2. I think the point remains.
In November, do not come here and bitch about four more years of Bush, if you don't support the democratic candidate.

4. Beating Bush may not be too hard, but beating Diebold takes a Landslide

5. Toby...
...you might want to consider asking a mod to move this to GD2004. It is only going to be locked in here.

8. Toby. How many flies do you think you caught in that jar of honey

Nothing like alienating people and making them feel as if you're trying to coerce them.

DU needs to implement a mandatory course on Psychology 101.

Also, stop to think why should your outlook on life dictate anyone else's freedom of vote? Maybe others have their own outlook that's just as valid as yours.

One man. One vote. To each his/her own conscience. No amount of bullying in the world is going to change that.

thought better, backed out and then came back to query the OP's definition of "liberal"........

Thank goodness a cooler mind showed up and prevailed. Thanks, Tinoire.

10. The same thing here.......

I'm going to write in Dean. It is what I feel.....

It's a two-way street......the DLC/DNC would not have the assult on *bush without Dean.....Dean stood up to *bush and brought the democratic voter to the listening ear shot of the party....What did they do.... they abandon him, steal his message and try and sell it as their own. They anointing their insider pal, one to keep the powers contained.

11. Considering his overall Sentate Voting record
It is hard to imagine anyone politically active enough to post here not voting for him should he win the nomination, which seems pretty likely at this stage.

It seems most who threaten not to are doing so over sour grapes, bad information, overconfidence, or just to get a rise out of other posters.

12. Oh, we won't come here and bitch...
...we'll no doubt be "purged" by the DLC faithful by that time. And, conveniently, at the same time, we'll be used as an excuse as to why their "consensus candidate" who took a "bold, but not drastically different" approach to foreign and domestic affairs, did not win. Hey, and you want to see some "pissing all over our candidates", just take a stroll back thru the archives of this forum. You'll find the most vile, bombastic attacks imagineable. Attacks not from the RNC, but from the DLC and "status quo" cheerleaders. So please forgive me if I seem somewhat skeptical.
