Ann Coulter on "Hannity and *" Tuesday: Will Colmes finally get angry?

I am sure all of you have seen or heard of the latest Coulter screed, over the top even by her standards, trashing Max Cleland and his service to this country. Will this finally by The Moment that Alan Colmes has had it, and blasts her? And if not, what the hell would it take, if not that column? What do you think will happen?

1. i voted "Finally", mostly out of desperate optimism that he may get guts

as the tide turns this year, we may yet see a less feeble Colmes.

but that's just wishful thinking. all signs point to him wetting his pants.

because her comments, especially about Cleland, were so horribly wrong he wont want to give it anymore attention. Perhaps he will subtly ridicule her by asking questions she cant understand. This could be a million questions I know, I just think some journalists will seek to point her out as the gutless attention whore she is, albeit in a roundabout way. IMHO anyways :shrug:

4. I take the GWB approach to Coulter

I'm absent. I "transfer" to another station. (but I don't show up there). Later, I tell everybody I saw her whole diatribe. But, I'm lying. I was actually out partying and working a couple hours a day for a friend of my Dad's.

It would be a libel, not slander, suit, and Cleland is a public figure. A lawsuit would go nowhere. The best way to fight back is with the truth, and that's why I hope (but do not expect) to see outrage from Colmes. It's called for here. Or, let Ann Coulter be the recognized voice of the Republican Party this election year. Most decent people would be appalled, and it could only help us. Wish somebody would challenge Bush to disavow this column and Coulter's rhetoric. When he refused, it would speak volumes to the American people. Of course, it won't happen.

I have written Alan Colmes in the hopes he gets in contact with Max Cleland or Cleland's CO and confront Coulter with the truth.

I am one pissed off veteran. Max Cleland is a war hero and deserves to be treated with respect. Coulter should count her blessing that she has her legs, which she of course shows off whenever she appears in public or on television.

God, I hate her.
