10. YEAH!!!
That's what O'Reilly said, so it must be true. Just 'cause he jumped out of planes in WWII and covered the Moon landings while O'Reilly's major accomplishment is that his show won a Polk after he left don't mean nothin'...

8. It would be so wonderful if Cronkite and others like him
would start writing about electronic voting. The time is approaching and we are still in trouble.

11. GOPers using Clinton as an excuse
"But let me add a caveat of my own here. Regardless of what the White House did with it, the fact that the CIA produced flawed intelligence about Iraq can hardly be disputed. The Clinton administration was given the same information. And Tenet himself acknowledged that his agency had passed on to the White House some unreliable and even fabricated intelligence."

GOPers are both blaming Clinton and using him as an excuse for invading Iraq...

as stated in the article - Clinton was given the same information.

The difference between Clinton and bush* using the same information - Clinton didn't manipulate the info and invade Iraq.

Why?

Could it be because Clinton paid attention and was engaged in the process and knew that some, if not the majority of the information was bogus?

12. The Bushcos were goading Mr. Clinton to act on that intel and ....
to start their oil war with Iraq, two or three years before Bush TOOK over! These wise guys were determined to get at Saddam's oil reserve! The Bushcos even gave over forty million dollars to the Taliban about four months prior to 9/11! More than enough to finance Atta and friend's horrid caper in the US! I won't put away my industrial strength Duct tape until Bush is back in Hawg Heaven Texas, along with "Hot Tub Tom DeLay-u'all"!

14. Clinton had the same over-cooked info, BUT....
...We didn't go to war over it. And the PNAC bunch, with their letter to Bill, couldn't budge him.

Chimpy, on the other hand, could hardly wait to smack Iraq...After all, "He tried to kill mah Daddy..."
