Rush has his trousers twisted
I won't post the link - you know how to find him. Last time I linked to his site I had the rules read to me.

The thrust of his argument today is that the press ignored the Kerry/intern "story" until it was refuted, and only then did they talk about it

--- wheras --
In the case of AWOL the rumors were printed before it was "refuted"

----therefore ----

the "liberal" press spins for the liberals.

Never mind Shrub had a 4+ year cakewalk on the AWOL story.
Never mind that it has NOT been refuted.

1. So Rush is pissed because the press waited to find out if something
Edited on Mon Feb-16-04 09:29 PM by Gman
was true rather than slime Kerry. They're pissed because they know people would remember the taint and not the fact that it was not true, which is obviously what Rush et al wanted. They're pissed because the awful liberal media didn't take the bait and run for deep water.

3. Problem is that Bush's AWOL has NOT been refuted in my opinion.
He didn't show up when he was supposed to and he was not excused.

4. My dream is that the Democrats
will one day control Congress and break up the media monopolies and also reinstate the Fairness Doctrine.

I would not mind that Rush and his clones spin the corporate line if the liberals had equal time to spin the need for democracy.
