why would you watch that program? It's not like one would ever see a fair and balanced portrayal of anything - its like listening to Limbaugh or something. I'm just curious as to what one gets out of it if one is left leaning?
I never expect Faux to be "fair and balanced", but I do watch it to be able to cite the lies put forward by the right wing media and to make sure I know what the right wing will say next. It's kinda like figuring out the next move in chess. And if you don't think it is a big deal to others on this forum, just look at the responces and inquires to what happened to Mike Malloy last night.
be attached to each application for the Republican scholarship so that they can be sure the applicant is white.
When I applied for my first teaching job in Alabama, I had to attach a picture. That was so that the PUBLIC school would not accidentally hire a non-white person.
That was 40 years ago (how did I get this old?), but it's because of things like this that affirmative action was necessary in the first place.
I don't see a problem with it. I am Puerto Rican (well, half puerto rican) and I get scholarships pretty easy. They do have to write an essay, not just show a picture. I see where they are comming from.
that whites have had all the advantages throughout history. This scholarship bs completely ignores this. And for Hannity to say the Repubs stand for MLK's saying of judging a man by his character and not by the color of his skin is the biggest piece of bs I have ever heard.
