I'm a staunch Republican who has never voted any other way so I might be a bit biased toward Bill and his ingenius use of so-called 'vanity publishing' to funnel millions of dollars into his bank account as staunch Republican allies like myself buy thousands of copies and hand them out as gifts, thus bypassing donation caps imposed by political finance laws.

I mean, no one believes that distribution on Amazon.com is just for family members? After all, charging family members $50 to read your home-made geneological diary is so anti-family, no one believes that Bill would do that to his family? Come on!

Besides, I, too, am an M.D. who works in a poison control center, and so I totally 'get' Bill's mindset and can appreciate the use these books will have in the waiting room as a vomit-inducer.

4. $50?! What is this, a fundraising book?!

If this jerk cared about families, he wouldn't be ripping them off so badly!!!

He could charge $100 per copy and get the same number of buyers...

Besides, who cares? Many families have full time jobs with their own genealogies, let alone reading up on some family they'll never meet personally, let alone truly care about.
