The real reason for delayed live broadcasts is to protect Bush in live
appearances. They can now hide behind this as an industry standard to revise or omit anything the idiot might say in live appearances.

Eleanor Clift mentioned that on McLaughlin.

someone here said it was based on a NYT story

this got ZERO coverage on TV.

what a surprise....shouldn't it have been a big story?

4. You've got to be kidding!
This needs to get into the mainstream. 'OK, take 67. C'mon sir, you can do it. Your lines are 'proud to serve, fulfilled my obligation, I was there, did my duty, tax cuts permanent, economy rebounding, Republicans good, Democrats bad, Kerry is a child molester.....

6. uh, to clarify this story...

the bushies put an edited version of the interview on his campaign website. edited out the ur, um, ah, and other idiocy to make him look sentient.

NBC complained. they took it down.

even if the MTP *broadcast* was edited, this is not what EC was referring to on McLaughlin Group

7. I saw the broadcast, and that sure wasn't the impression I got
she made it sound like NBC edited the interview before it aired, then reiterated that assertion

did you see the show?

I did

I may be wrong, but that was the impression I got.

is there transcript of that

very curious.....what you say makes sense, cause there should have been quite the stink raised if they actually edited it to help out the chimp in advance of broadcast

please?

8. I saw two spots....
...in MTP where I felt there had been an edit. I wasn't watching for it, but just noticed a slight indication that something had been clipped out.
