Please, go and answer this stupid question on MSNBC.
Q: Should the Vietnam War years matter?

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3080261/

My Comment: My two years I spent in the Army back then, matter very much to me, still, to this very day! Does the service of the Troops in Iraq now, matter? Did George Washington's service matter and does it still matter to America? What if all our soldiers over the past 200 years had thought it was not important to "Show Up", would that matter today? Did all the tears shed for the 58,000 dead, between the Viet Nam war and now, matter?

Hubert Flottz

I forgot to call them MORANS! Will someone do that for me please?

1. Just for you Hubert
So, in order to demonize John Kerry you are stepping up to minimize the deaths and dismemberment of the men and women who DID serve in Vietnam?

Let me ask you this...should World War II matter? How about World War I? or the Korean War? Will you also demonize all those veterans?

This question is moranic, the fact that you asked it is moranic and the idea that your pundits will go on televison to discuss it makes them morans of the first degree.

8. Ok thanks, I shouldn't get so pissed!
Or should I? I've already had a bypass and it looks like I may soon need another! If I'd known it didn't matter I would have stayed home and got drunk and stoned like Bush did!

10. Here's mine
My post:

Does Viet Nam matter?

A simple fact: every other veteran presidential candidate in recent memory has waived privacy rights and opened his entire military file to public scrutiny. Bush is the only one who has not. Why is he, alone, afraid of his own record?

Obviously HE thinks the issue of Viet Nam still matters.

You have a lot of nerve asking that question. Why don't you take a trip to the "Wall," where 58,244 names will always matter. See if you can keep a dry eye while you descend into the emotional maelstrom of the wall. Then, see if you can ask this disingenuous question again without ghosts whispering in your ears.

20. Yes.
Character matters. War can bring out what a person is made of, but growth is always possible and often happens. I just don't see that with George. He is still the same, no personal growth is apparent.
