I don't know how many are following this, but the Ohio Shooter shot from a bridge about 10 miles from my house yesterday...this sucks

I can't understand some peoples rationale to create fear

I used to live in Licking County, but I don't think the shooting was anywhere near Newark, where I was (Heath actually). Where are you?

in between Thornville and Hebron

from what i can gather it was right outside of Pataskala where the shooting occurred

I was thinking the attack was up towards New Albany, just into Licking County. I have no idea why I thought that, I guess I just assumed it was closer to Columbus. That's some scarry shit. I remember when there was a serial killer knocking off sportsmen (hunters and fishermen) down here in my neck of the woods. I was in Columbus at the time for college, but I remember everybody being a little freaked out about it. Serial killers are one thing when they're in Atlanta or Seattle, but quite another when you drive by a couple of the crime scenes on your way to visit your parents for the weekend. I hope they catch this asshole, and damn quick.

actually I just read it on the local news, it was off of the 204 overpass at Pickerington...so I am a bit more far away than I thought at first

Yeah, Pickerington is a lot further away from you than Pataskala is. Nothing like a little distance between yourself and a damn sniper, eh?

And are you sure it wasn't Pataskala where the shooting was? SR 310? I was just talking to my brother, and he's pretty sure. I guess it doesn't matter, really.

14. I remember Thomas Dillon (serial killer) well

He was arrested about six blocks from where I was teaching. One of his first victims was a good friend of a fellow teacher. Dillon turned out to be an arsonist as well as a killer. He also had ties with law enforcement - a disgruntled deputy, I believe. He was lurking around our neighborhood for several years. It's not a comfortable feeling. I hope this sniper is caught soon.

3. It's really scary

I feel for you guys. A few summers ago, we had a BB Gun sniper on a highway here that is on the way to Cape Cod-a popular destination in warm weather. No one was injured, but I had visions of driving down to my weekend cottage and getting shot.

Of course, what is happening in OH is a much greater magnitude. You must be terrified. Do they have any clue who is doing this?

I live in the shooter's original quadrant (SW part of 270 between 71 and 70).
IMHO, the whole point seems to be the power the shooter feels at threatening the unsuspecting. I've known a few bullies that were like that.

And, yeah...it sucks.

My fiancee was actually out and about yesterday and drove by the area right after it happened. There were cops on the overpass, cops on the freeway, helicopters in the air, news vehicles etc. She was pretty freaked out, called me on her cell.

As you come to the Pataskala exit, there is a sign that says Pataskala 1 mile. Right there, there is an overpass, that's where the bastard shot from in broad daylight. There are two houses on either side of the overpass. The guy is a brazen nut, and i hope they catch this mother((*$%&$*,

I originally thought it was the 310 overpass outside of Pataskala, but WBNS10TV said it was in Pickerington

This is crazy-it's almost like the guy WANTS to be caught. Did you hear the story about very early in the shooting spree the victim gave the bullet to the police-and the police handed it BACK to them instead of keeping it for evidence?
