1. The pugs on Scarborough are trying to divide the Democrats
They aren't going to succeed. In fact I have never seen a more united party!

2. The one exchange they picked on
with The Rev, was, I thought, in the top 3 moments of the debate!

Gawd, I certainly hope Al stays in this to the convention! He can, of course, tell it like it is in that way more than the others, 'cause he isn't really in it to be president, but to do just that...tell it like it is.

He is just terrific! I love him!

Al Sharpton's words were better in context, following Dennis Kucinich's statement that he reviewed pre-war intelligence and didn't see evidence of wmd in Iraq.

6. Oh, sure, of course they were.
I didn't mean to take away from what DK said.

But when the Rev. started going on about not knowing he was lying but was lying, and about some crazy psychological problem, I thought I was going to bust a gut. I called my 84 year old mum and we laughed and agreed those were the best lines to that point.

5. Scarborough was implying that some Democrats won't vote for Kerry because
Scarborough was implying that some Democrats won't vote for Kerry because they're too upset by hearing Kucinich and Sharpton say Bush is a liar.

I doubt that will be a problem.

7. He spent every tv appearance ragging on Clinton
when he was in Congress. So I almost did a spit-take when I heard Scar say that.

8. I agree with them.
I hate Bush more than I ever imagined hating another human being. But, perpetually slamming Bush will turn off the independent voter. I really would want to know what is right about John Kerry not what is wrong with George Bush.

11. Do you ever notice how conservatives....
are master guilt-trippers, forever playing the punative, critical parent to liberals,
explaining patiently what is wrong with our behavior and how we should
act?

Makes me want to :nuke:

15. punch a bully in the nose and watch him cry.
that's all the repukes are, bullies who can dish it out but whine like babies when their ugly salvos are returned in kind.

already they are planting in the public pysche the frame work of "dems are mean people" & "repubs are friendly, set upon people."

this setting of the frame work is the essential feature of the campaign. whoever succeeds best in framing the opposition's "personality" wins in november.

each time the repukes complain about democratic campaign ugliness the dems have to fire back examples of past repuke smears.....and complain about it, jsut like the gop has recently.
