4. This photo reminds me of that one from Vietnam....
Remember that photo taken in Vietnam of that naked child running in fear? Just as powerful. The children and innocents suffer in war.

Oh my god...it's so horrible. Heartless leaders who bring war and destruction.

I'm for Kucinich Department of Peace. George Washington was the first to ask for it after he saw so much suffering of citizens.

5. PM Paul Martin is confronting allegations of a financial scandal head on.
Can you imagine Shrub or Cheney addressing questions from the public on, say, their Halliburton conflict of interest? This is very similar, except on a much smaller scale (only a few million dollars involved, not billions).

Martin deserves a lot of credit for not dodging or obfuscating on this. He seems really serious about getting to the bottom of it and holding those responsible accountable.

9. Canada is a first world country -
I don't know what the US is anymore other than bullying arrogance with military might.

10. I am listening.
I do have to make a point. The PM is just first among equals. Elected by the party in the majority. If we had such a system Tom Delay would be the PM.
Paul Martin takes calls. It seems there is a scandal here. He weaves and bobs. Talks like a politician. Host pummels the PM. PM claims ignorance. Trouble in Quebec. It seems like petty corruption. Callers are outraged and disappointed. Health care questions. 9 pts. drop in the polls. PM;no spin. Gun control mentioned. Controller general to watch for corruption.

Hey Canada, thank your stars. You still have it. I guess we threw it away.
