Clear signs that Bush is going to have some problems with the Republican base come November. I've got a good feeling that many hardcore Republicans will be staying home on election day.

5. Okay, that's it...
BO wet his finger and stuck it in the air. He sees where the wind is blowing and wants to be on our side. He justs wants to stay employed.

Faggeddaboudit Bill - you're out. No hard feelings. It's only business.

10. Outsource him.
I'm sure we could find any number of folks in the third world who would be glad to do BO's job for far less. As a free trade advocate, I'm sure he'll approve!

4. Where did he apologize? His tv broadcast?
I can't stomach him, so I missed it. First, he changed his position on global warming. Now this. But frankly, I don't want him speaking for me. I'd rather he just join the ranks of the unemployed!

Thanks for the info. It gets curiouser and curioser, don't it?

6. He appologized on MTP I believe...
And I don't think he will be speaking for us anytime soon, I think he will just be confusing a lot of conservatives.

7. Whoa is the world going backwards?
The day that Rush criticizes Bush I always thought would be an odd day. So here we are. Does this mean Bush is gone? Cause 20 million of Rush's listeners (dittoheads) are going to agree.

9. No, they will just blame Clinton for everything

I talked to a right winger the other day. He spouted all the things we know are false - it's like he was completely unaware of what is going on in the real world. Saddam & 9/11 are linked, the world is behind us in Iraq, Bush served admirably during the Vietnam War. He said he only reads Fox News, Washington Times, and Newsmax, and that everything else is "far left." He was completely unaware of the predominance of conservative columnists in the Washington Post. He even said Cato is "far left." To him, "far left" = anything not overwhelmingly positive about Bush. He said the invasion of Iraq was our ONLY option. Spouted all the typical chickenhawk bluster. I said, these are real people over there getting killed and injured. He said, so, it's just the way things are, the military is proud to do things like this. I said, they are proud to serve our country, but not proud to serve Halliburton. He was completely unaware of all the horrific deaths and injuries our military is suffering. And he scoffed when I gave numbers of Iraqis dead and wounded. I said the Iraqis don't want us there. He said, "I know the Arab people will always hate us - who cares?" He doesn't want to know the truth, and he will be at the polls voting for Bush. The core won't desert Bush, but there is hope the people who actually think for themselves enough to venture out of the Fox/Wash. Times/Newsmax box and see what's going on in the world might not.
