2. Which way am I supposed to vote?
Its not clear cut

Did Bush score political points = yes(true), negative from our Democratic standpoint.

Alternative, Did Bush score political points = no(A lie) which serves to spite the GOP.

3. Vote no!
This could very well backfire on the Chimp, just like "mission accomplished". Except for the true believers, not many people are going to be influenced by this phony photo-op stunt. And the true believers are with him no matter what, so it's not a gain.

and also sent an e-mail to MSRNC, asking who's paying for this campaign appearance, the American taxpayers or the RNC.

14. It's sickening the way the bushes*
...keep coming back to Daytona. Daytona is a weird honky tonk backwater dependent on five or six major promotional events a year. I doubt if the large number of retirees struggling on social security and medicare will be influenced by the NASCAR event. These people vote and tend to vote democratic. (they are older and wiser).

Most of the working people in this part of the country are too poor to go to the event. I don't see any African-Americans or Asian-Americans going to the event. The wages and employment here are awful. The health sector and local government are the only steady employers. 83 percent of the people here do not have a college degree, making it one of the most undereducated areas in the state. There are wealthy people here who mostly occupy the waterfront real estate on a part time basis. A real status symbol for doctors is to have an autographed picture of the chimp hanging behind their desk.

It is interesting to hear on the news that Daytona racing team mechanics and drivers wouldn't vote democratic. Perhaps these top mechanics and drivers on the multi-million dollar corporate sponsored racing teams vote. I met a large number of mechanics and NASCAR fans on the bottom of the social pyramid in my eight years owning a pub. These people by and large don't vote.
