Enron is not a dead issue ~ Gillespie was an Enron Executive
Gillespie has been all over the airwaves of late spreading as much dirt as he can. Calling Kerry a Jane Fonda Protester and saying Kerry's staff was going to have Moby spread stuff on a Chat Room etc. etc. Most Enron Executives are being found out to be crooks. Let's get Enron back into Vogue. One of GOP's largest supporters is a bunch of Crooks and the Administration and GOP has deep ties with them.

3. Geez...no wonder you could hear Gillespie's sphincter shut
when Timmy showed him the Kerry ad about Bush's political contributors on MTP. Timmy showed a comment in a book about Bush's biggest contributor and it was "Enron." LOL.

4. Actually, I think he was a lobbyist for Enron
rather than an executive.

Nevertheless, it's always good to hammer home just how connected the Bush administration was and is to Enron:

5. Ed Gillespie: Enron/Lay shill and toady.
OK, Ed. Let's talk Thomas White and the DoD and, more importantly, Ken Lay and Prime Minister Cheney's Top-Secret Energy Task Force. How about the ruination of a company to buy the presidency in 2000? Care to discuss that, Ed? Mister Ed?

6. senate dems blew it
...when smokin' Joe Lieberman and the others decided not to investigate Bush Admin ties during the window of opportunity in the 50-49-1 Senate. As a result Enron has nowhere near the issue potential it could have.

8. Why didn't Russert jump on this then? Whether lobbyist, or exec,
Gillespie's connection to Enron is hugely germane to today's MTP interviews. God, the way Russert cherry-picks his outrage drives me nuts.

He is GasBag.

9. A lobbyist
A Skilling indictment might do the trick. There are are skeletons in the Bush closet. There are live bodies too. They howl in the dark and GWB wonders.
