Anybody catch Russert midquoting Rangel on MTP?

It happened twice. I'll give you a bonus if you can name both instances. It gave the Rethug a chance to say that he didn't believe what Rangel said was true...and it wasn't true because it wasn't what Rangel said.

Russert claimed that Rangel said that Bush raised more special interest money in "one night" as opposed to Kerry during his whole time in congress. I believe that Rangel was referring to Bush's raising of more special interest money during his Presidency.

In any event Gillespie was able to legitimately claim the "one night" claim was untrue.
