3. If I were a Californian, I would also vote against recall & for Flynt
He's a hero for blunting the GOP's sword during the Monica fiasco. I'd rather have an honest pornographer than a dishonest politician.

20. I'm voting FOR the recall and FOR Flynt!
I honestly can't understand why the CA Dem party is snubbing the 35% of dem voters who signed the petition for recall.

I really don't like Davis- so I signed the petition. I am not a monolithic party member and there are millions like me. If no other big-name dem has the cajones to break ranks and go after the mansion, then I'm ....

....IN WITH FLYNT!

And I just love the beautiful irony that will travel both ways. The republicans will get "the anti-christ" as a governor, and lame-ass Davis and the rest of the spineless California democrats will get beaten by a low-brow, free thinking, radical, non-conformist, pornographer.

The dual irony could not be better.

And the topper: I believe Flynt has a very real chance of getting elected, ESPECIALLY if the dems remain monolithic in their support for Davis and refuse to add a name to the list.

The republican vote will be divided between three or more strong candidates, Issa, Simon and Riordan- While Flynt's only competition so far is a no-name former Assemblywoman named Audie Bock. Bock may garner only a handful of votes.

Flynt's got a name, he's got money and he's got the "protest vote."

I encourage EVERYONE to back Flynt.

Start printing T-Shirts and bumper stickers. This man is wheeling his way to Sacremento!

And for those of you who don't "read" Hustler, the past few issues have featured interviews with Greg Palast, Helen Caldicot and Michael Moore.

7. He should start a non-porn political magazine and reprint these articles
For those of us who prefer not to get plain brown packages in the mail.

5. so he would expand gambling?
I've often thought it's foolish for California to facilitate all that revenue going to Nevada.

But haven't we voted this down before?

8. This recall
is getting more and more interesting.

Yeah, I think I might vote for Flynt after I vote NO on the Recall.

If I didn't live here and have to make my living from the State, I would probably be laughing my ass off. Nevermind, I AM laughing my ass off.

Hey, Repugs, you asked for it, you got it, bend over...

10. Flynt is running as a Democrat, and if Davis is recalled,
I certainly will not be voting for a Repuke. I'll vote for a Democrat to replace him, and that means Flynt. Hell, I'd vote for Flynt over Feinstein (whom I will never forgive for voting for hearings to impeach Clinton...and who just endorsed school vouchers for D.C.)!

Flynt can definitely afford to put out some decent (no pun intended) campaign ads!

13. I know this seems cute and funny
but this effort to undo yet another legal election is too serious to play around with. Flynt could bring out all the nutsacks who might otherwise not vote (they usually don't unless there's a gun control initiative on the ballet) and inadvertantly elect a Republican. This is serious shit people. I loved what he did during the Clinton impeachment debacle -take that Sen. Bob Livingston!-and I think he's a patriotic American but please, not now and not with this.

14. Sigh . . .
Let's just make him a keynote speaker at the convention. A pornographer and accused child molestor is just what we need to bring in the "soccer moms."

17. He showed more class than Republicans in Clinton "scandals".
When Livingstone's wife asked Flint not to publish the stuff he had on her husband, he didn't. Can't say that much for a single "Republican Christian" when it came to Clinton's family.

18. If there's no "real" candidate with balls enough
to step up to the plate- then by ALL MEANS, Flynt will get my vote.

This is a BEAUTIFUL turn of events. This is democracy at it's wierdest and best. I love it- and I hope he gets elected.

19. Though it certainly would seem ironically appropriate
to see the Rethugh’s beaten by Flint, I could not in good conscience vote for him. If a reasonable Democrat alternative is not on the ballet I will vote for Peter Camejo.
