What Republican VP would be...
Edited on Sat Feb-14-04 01:03 PM by RoeBear
...the toughest to defeat in November?

I'm thinking McCain.

Which one would be the easiest?

I think Cheney would be the easiest to beat, but I don't think he'll be on the ticket in November. So my second choice would be Santorum or someone like him who would polarize Dem voters into going to the election booth come November.

I'll add one more: the funniest.
Dan Quayle, can you imagine the brain power the two of them combined would have? If it were harnessed it could almost light a match.

2. I don't think there's any chance that McCain would be run as VP
Edited on Sat Feb-14-04 12:59 PM by Rabrrrrrr
He's been critical of the administration, and mostly, I'm sure he'll always remember how the Shrub side of the campaign accused McCain of not being a good soldier back in 2000.

I could see McCain running as a dem VP - imagine a Kerry/McCain ticket. :-)

And I think Dennis Miller falls under the 'funniest' category.

he's be on a ticket to get the votes of white suburban women, and he'd probably succeed.
