"Bush is a jinx"
Look at all that has happened while he has been in office. He is a jinx. He has bad karma. Vote for someone else who doesn't have so many bad things happening around him. If you vote for him, some of his bad luck might even rub off on you.

For those who are too busy to keep informed, this might be the best line to pull them out of their red state status. It might neutralize their line of, "We can't change leaders while all this bad stuff is happening."

2. I would like to add
that when someone says something like that (we can't change leaders now. look at all the shit that is going on) I like to point out that most of the shit that is happening is because of our leader.

Maybe they are reluctant to change horses midstream, but wouldn't they rather go with a horse that is smart enough to take the bridge across?

4. The secret is to get it to stick like glue to Bush. Make it a self-
fulfilling prophesy.

This is one thing the Pubs know how to do. Re: Howard Dean's temper said over and over again - must be true. Show picture of him "cheer leading" to his supporters - and show that as an example of his "temper". I am just using this as an example.

Progressive radio and print material need to say over and over again: Bush is a jinx. Bush has bad karma, etc.

Ever consider changing your Sig. to "Bush is a Jinx"

7. Didn't Nostradamus identify the AntiChrist as Mabus?
How far is that from Ma Bush? Coincidence?? I think not.

8. He's worse than a jinx
He's a curse. A curse is inflicted on purpose, and these guys knew exactly how they were going to pillage the village.

9. We need to gently lead them to their own conclusions.
Dubya used what is called enthymematic argumentation to convince his followers that we were going after Saddam because of 9/11. He never said Saddam had anything to do with 9/11, but he used the two words in the same sentence enough times that those who were only half way listening drew the conclusion that the two were connected.

Some how, we need to un-brainwash those people so that they know that they were being lead to draw an incorrect conclusion.

When Bush said that people tend to "misunderestimate" him, he was right. He had merged the words "misunderstand" and "underestimate" to describe his ability to convince people without having to actually say the lie.

11. there used to be a cartoon character....
...named Joe Btfsplk. The poor guy walked around with his own rain cloud over his head. Part of the Dogpatch population. I often think of him when thinking of George.

George IS a jinx. The problem is that nothing ever happens to him -- just to the rest of us.

12. The fates have smiled upon him personally.
Who drew Lil' Abner, was it Al Capp?

So how would you draw Dubya?

So Bush would be parting the clouds? No, that is too much like parting the red sea.

He would be stirring up dust like pigpen, but he wouldn't be dirty, everyone else would be?

The closest I can think of is Roadrunner, bombs meant to drop on him fall on Wile E. Cayote. No, that doesn't work either, Roadrunner is innocent.

19. We know that, but the uninformed don't.

> "He and his cronies are making all the bad things happen!"
We know that. We believe in Rove and Cheney and PNAC. To the uninformed, that is unbelievable. I wouldn't even think it could be possible that Dubya is following the PNAC script unless I read their website for myself.

The uninformed will find it hard to believe that someone high up in the Vice President's office leaked the identity of a CIA operative. People in general find it difficult to believe that someone they trust has betrayed their trust. They will find it much easier to believe he has just had bad luck. Let them think that if it will get them to vote for our guy.

15. I honestly believe hes mentally unstable
and should be tested for mental illness. Hes coming out with these out there Mars and Illegal Alien speeches while a war he started rages on... Really Im serious here. They keep him in secrecy because I think they realize this. All the controlled environments and the staged events with scripted lines only bolster my belief that were dealing with a sick man.

17. this could be a good way for the dems to comment on AWOL
maybe Clark could praise Bush for not going to Vietnam, say that no commander would want to have such a fuckup in combat.
