1. I did, but that Camry ad is the most obtrusive I've ever seen.
Planted itself on top of the first two questions of the poll and would not leave.

2. ha-HA~
"Editor's Note: This week, the online version of the Newsweek poll received an unusually high rate of response, with the clear majority of participants casting uniform votes. For these reasons, we believe the poll is being intentionally manipulated. In addition, we received an e-mail alert suggesting that the campaign is being coordinated by at least one special-interest group." <link to FR>

*manical grin* even they see through the votes...

3. It's definitely freeped
The differences between the scietific poll from the magazine and the unscientific online poll are interesting. Fortunately, the online poll is meaningless.

4. A Preview to November's black box elections????
The poll does not work for me

and when you hit the back button on the browers, the previous page come back with the questions answered differently.

I filled-in the form with selections against the Shrub and for mariage.
When I hit the back button on my browser, my choices were changed to for the shrub.

A Preview to November's black box elections????

5. And did you notice THIS?

Newsweek now has a flag at the top of that page warning that the poll is being skewed by an organized "special interest group."
Click on that phrase and PRESTO! you're at Free Republic, where the following is displayed:

From: Bunny Chambers Sent: Saturday, February 07, 2004 11:21 PM
Subject: ALERT--Action Needed

We have been requested by the White House to click on the following link and participate in the Newsweek Poll: http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4205947/ Please do it as soon as possible. Please pass this on.

Bunny Chambers GOP National Committeewoman for Oklahoma

CAN YOU BELIEVE WHITE HOUSE STAFF PAID WITH PUBLIC MONEY HAS TIME TO CALL AROUND THE COUNTRY TO GOP LAPDOGS AND ASK THEM TO GET THEIR ORGANIZATION TO FUCK UP ONLINE MAGAZINE POLLS? THIS IS YET ANOTHER SCANDAL IF YOU ASK ME

7. Guess the party would do that, as they like Geo to have good polls.
I am going to go back and re-check that poll out. The ad made me mad as I could not move it.
