Wow. That was scathing. Calhoun looks like an imbecile now, and is pretty worthless. Also, the acknowledgment that he could be called to active duty as a result of no-show is damning; one should note that it is precisely this disciplinary action that the Calpundit speculation about ARF put forward. That's basically been confirmed now: the no-show did result in disciplinary action. Also, the claim that Bush had to "rush" to fill in all those dates in order to get an honorable discharge is, like, whoa. The guy was a slacking ass slacker (and, probably, as Chris Rock says, a cracker ass cracker). What a fucking schmuck he is.

My uncle was drafted in summer 1967, and served in Vietnam in 3 Corps (first in "War Zone C," then - if I remember correctly - in the area of Tay Ninh City) late 1967 - late 1968.
