the president can suspend habeus corpus....
in a martial law situation, and the like......

Can the president also refuse to yield power in the dual event of (a) an ongoing national emergency (like war), and (b) coming out on the losing side of an election?

is there some kind of "emergency wartime powers" that would permit this?

1. I don't think he can do that legally
Though it would be interesting if he tried...wonder if the FBI would have to raid the WH...?

2. Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the Civil War
as for the second point, I don't think so. If there is one, I would assume that Congress would be the branch that would authrorize to give such authority to the president.

3. NO, there isn't

But I would suspect that these election thiefs would try.

But if push came to shove, the military would back someone OTHER than Bush!!!!! That would force him to step down peacefully!!!!!

4. He came to office unconstitutionally...
He can probably do anything he wants, as long as 5 members of the Supreme Court will go along.

...
edit: regarding Habeus Corpus

Means more or less literally "deliver (we will have) the body"
