It not only applies to lying corporate whores like Glassman, it applies to the brainwashed religious right and most republicans. I don't know how many times I've had these people tell me they would be ridiculed at church or at the country club if they voted for a democrat. It's the most incomprehensible thing I've encountered in my 57 years on this planet.
