DOBBS: If I wanted to stop that, Jim, I would say I wanted to stop it. There's no difficulty getting my opinion on something. That is a transplant in a market in which it is brought, it's factories of production. It is not analogous in any way to IBM shipping 10,000 jobs to India solely for the purpose of achieving lower wages.

6. This "IS" the issue

It is nice to see AWOL being covered- Rove&Co having to sweat a bit doesn't bother me a bit. But when it comes to elections, if you/your brother/sister/mother/father/etc has lost his/her job then you're going to be pissed.

And that means voting the people in power, out of power.
Especially because they are doing NOTHING to help. $300 Tax credit? Please... That won't even cover one month's expenses!

9. Ross "Sucking Sound" Perot offshoring, as well

I saw on the Dobbs ticker that Perot Systems is opening 2 facilities in India, 3,500 jobs.

Of course, without regulation any company not offshoring is at a competitive disadvantage -- just like those supermarkets out in California trying to compete with Walmart's miserable pay scale and benefits.
