Watching the Massachusetts legislature now on CSPAN...
can somebody fill me in on exactly what the debate is on now? Is there yet another amendment proposed and if so, how does it differ from the previous ones?

1. Well,
They have had a sequence of Ds up talking eloquently about equal rights. They keep getting interrupted by people who keep standing up (the speaker has been having a workout) and a little while ago they barely had a quorum I think... But I am not sure about specific amendment.

seems pretty damned cool.

But I presume there's an actual amendment under discussion - I just don't know what it is.

3. shut down until march
caught the end but there were so many interruptions i had no idea what was actually going on!
