Letterman giving the Chimp-in-Charge Hell
working him on the mispronunciation of nuclear right now -- but the one before that was even better -- a fake campaign ad, with Bush explaining why he didn't show up for Guard duty, and they use an outake from a speech with him saying "I was a drinker." *hooting*

2. Egggggssssactly....lmao
I am afraid I spit coffee all over myself when the drinker one ran across the screen. As we all know, the most effective weapon agains * and his mongoloid minions is humor. The more the better I say. Hold them up to public ridicule at every opportunity.

4. You know, you're right!
They are a bunch of thin-skinned humorless bastards- and it's their Achille's heel.

If Bush* made cracks about this to reporters and made a comedic mea culpa, this Nat. Guard stuff would die. But he couldn't even finish the "fool me once" line.

Stuck up stuffed shirts...

5. Did anybody see
Letterman's film of Bush's jaw clench on the Russert interview? That was hysterical.

11. It was earlier this week.
No dicking around with the tape, just Lancelot Link himself. After he made some sort of pseudo-John Wayne declaration he sort of had a spasm and clenched his jaw. Simply had to be seen to be believed.

14. Me too.
Saw it last night (Thursday 12th). Thought Dave was going to do a lame bit but I almost rolled out of bed onto the floor with the AWOL/Drinking piece. It was that good!!

Even the jaw-clench was funny.

You're right, no defense against a good joke. Hope it gets on the WWW.

8. David Letterman is a democrat! He is also a decent human being.
Can you not even appreciate that he his delivering "real" news to the masses?

I find it very hard to tolerate people hammering on our guys. Dave is fighting the good fight every single night, he even said what happened to Dean (the scream fiasco) was a "horrible injustice", so please keep your Letterman bashing to yourself.

9. Man, I can't believe I used to hate Letterman
for being the Smarmiest of the Smarmy. Well, okay, he's still smarmy and I cannot STAND his band leader (what-the-fuck's-his-name?). But Dave has been so totally upfront and cool even when it's been unpopular. I am a CONVERT. I was wrong, wrong, WRONG about him. I WILL force my pets to do stoopid tricks and I WILL make top ten lists.

eileen from OH (don't tell Mr. Eileen, okay? 'Cuz we could have some "issues". Including the fact that we don't have pets, "stoopid" or otherwise.)

10. his producer said that most of the people working for the show
have been there for years. She has been with them for twenty, she said that it takes a special kind of person to inspire that kind of loyalty in people. I have always believed that the smarm is his schick.
