W.House Backs Adviser Despite Stance on Outsourcing

Let them keep this crap up. With the labor market in a shambles,it will be their undoing.

<snip>

"We certainly don't want to do anything that would undermine free trade," McClellan said.

<snip>

<snip>

Nearly 2.8 million factory jobs have been lost since Bush took office and the issue looms large ahead of November's vote, where victory in rust-belt states like Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Michigan could be key.

<snip>

And the South is quickly becoming the new "rust-belt". Leaving too many people out of work is NOT a good way to get elected.

2. He's getting homesick for Crawford. There can be no other
explanation.

Normally, they would pretend to want to "do something about this problem" and then pass a bill entitled "Save American Jobs" which would fund seminars for businesses on how to ship american jobs overseas.

3. Well, of COURSE they do...

The only untolerable offense in the Chimpministration is standing up to Cheney and Rove. Just ask O'Neill.

All other sins are tolerated. Terrorist attack kills 3000 Americans? No, no one needs to lose their job over that....
