bush releases arrest records!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

White House today released details of President George W Bush's arrests and traffic violations as a young man amid questions about his military service at the height of the Vietnam war.

Spokesman Scott McClellan revealed the information because of questions stemming from the fact that they were blacked out on National Guard forms given to US media, sparking more questions about Bush's actions 30 years ago.

McClellan said Bush had previously disclosed arrests for stealing a Christmas wreath while a student at Yale University, and for rowdiness at a football game.

McClellan also listed speeding tickets from July and August of 1964 and two collisions, one in 1962 and another in August 1962 - downplaying the Guard's decision to black out the information. "I'm just amazed by the kinds of conspiracy theories that some have chosen to pursue," he said on board Air Force One.

2. Bullshit. If That's All They Were, They Wouldn't Have Been Blacked Out
there is already evidence that pres. AWOL was arrested for DUI. They'd better fess up before the media stumbles across the info on their own.

pres. shitferbrains needs to have his ass put on the stand. let the dumbass lie under oath..

That darn cocaine conviction in 1972 that caused him to miss his physical and go volunteer in the inner city as penance.

4. Holy cow!
If true, it sounds like the Team Exxon concluded they aren't going to get a free ride this time around, so they decided to come clean and deal with it early in the campaign.

Stealing a wreath really isn't that big a deal, and many people might even shrug off drunk driving charges. (Seattle Judge Bobbe Bridge was busted for a hit and run while driving drunk, and the Seattle Chamber of Commerce rescued her from justice.)

But at least these stories have been verified and may plant doubts in some people's minds.

Admit to a really minor offense that I knew my parents probably already knew about, act terribly contrite, and hope they wouldn't find out what I'd really been up to.

"It's true, I've been baaaaad, I stole a wreath" (maybe they won't ask about the cocaine)

8. These are records from when he was 16 and 18 Years Old! Where are

the recent ones when he was drinking and snorting? This is a "red herring" designed to make it look like very youthful indiscretions.
I hope the Press doesn't fall for it. There must be more. They left off the other violations. :grr:

12. They didn't actually release records, did they?
This is only what Scotty said, right? We still don't have copies that are not blacked out- unlike the White House.

17. Huh? Who is asking for this crap?
Am I hearing outcries from people for Bush to release his arrest records? No. The fact that Bush even HAS an arrest record in high-school/college is sad. Actually, I think this release will cause even more trouble for Bush because people will be wondering why Bush doesn't display ALL his arrests up until December 2000, including the DUI's.

18. No kidding
Gee, I made it though high school, college and 20 years in a career without an arrest record.

I guess I am not eligible to be President.
