MSNBC reporter in Iraq reporting why no bodies of Iraqis are ever found...
...after firefights. The reason the reporter gave was that the Iraqis take the bodies with them and then sweep up all of their shell casings too. I swear the MSNBC reporter just said this. Them Iraqi's must be some clean rascals or something?

9. That's what they said in Somalia.
After that firefight that allegedly killed 2,000 somali gunmen. But 2,000 dead gunmen is an awful big mess to clean up.

I suspect the estimates of enemy kills is at least bit exaggerated.

10. I do too
I just can't imagine that with us owning the skies and supposedly the country that the insurgents can find the time to stand around sweeping up shell casings and carrying bodies with them as they are running for their lives after attacking a convoy. I may be wrong, but I don't know...

13. I'm not defending the military's numbers nor claims.... just pointing out
where they are making (the perhaps rare) truthful statment. I don't know how often Iraqis CAN stop to remove/bury the dead and if this even makes sense from a practical point of view-- just that it is true that Islam expects that they will do so. As for the shell casings, that makes no sense at all.

8. That was Kevin Sites
He used to be a freelance reporter who contributed to CNN, they told him to stop updating his blog at www.kevinsites.net, and he bolted. Or so I understand it.

12. Is our military so incompetent that our enemies can loiter
over a battle field after having been completely vanquished long enough to collect their dead AND their shell casings?
