MTP + 4 and the Prez still licking his wounds.
The fallout continues, the boys in the basement getting a scolding for not prepping him adequately.

The American people got a good look at the "Macho Prez" under the glare, a soft one for sure, of Meet The Press. In this one hour. America found out we have ourselves a wimp, a weakling, who stammers for answers, tries to pause to remember the answers of the questions sent in previously. He appeared very much on the defensive, musta lost at least 5 million votes .
\
The Press is starting to come out of hiding. Time mag is doing the "Credibility" thing.
\
Even aides are shaking their heads(NOOOOO) while in hearings sending Colin Bowel into a rage(he lost it)
\
The "Let them eat shit" attitude has taken its toll.
\
The DOW going off like a skyrocket in anticipation of a DEM VICTORY. It was supposed to be at 16000 plus but God made W quarterback and sent him in and it tanked.
\
He will be remembered as THE PREZ WHO LIED till nobody believed him.

7. I almost hate to feel this way, but...
I've waited 3 damn years for this week. I've said over and over during those years that I would not watch the idiot on tv or listen to a word that he said. I left my church because I could not stand the smug false Christians that worshipped him every sunday morning in Sunday School. I've not gone to family gatherings because it was just not worth getting in a fight with them over how wonderful Bush is and how much better off we are with him than Clinton.

I've got a big bottle of wine that I've been saving here for the past 3 years to open and tost his removal. It won't be too much longer.

19. Dubya the Dunce
This spoiled, shallow creep is an emberassment to America around the world.

The Neo Fascists thought they had found a puppet to do their bidding that could convince the American people to allow themselves to be screwed over. They did find a puppet to do thier dirty work but if that puppet has to speak on his own about policy he only convinces dimwits. Let's hope the Neo Fascists were wrong in picking this puppet bafoon. Maybe enough Americans will be not so stupid as to vote for the least qualified candidate for President, Dubya the Dunce.

23. You and many other Americans have a right tro be embarrassed
by the First Turd.

He is lacking in such a glaring way. In fact, many glaring ways.

His ship is in danger of sinking, many rats are stirring and some have jumped already.

The most he can do is continue his LIE which are now looking Soooo
Nixonesque and out of touch with reality.

8. Infinitely worse.
Nixon, as miserable as he was, actually had a few accomplishments to his credit. Environmental and civil rights laws are among them.

Watergate and Kissinger aren't Nixon's only legacies.

What could possibly be said positive about this administration? It is very likely the only administration in our history that has not had one lasting accomplishment.

5. Wish I had seen the interview
My friend called me later on Sunday morning and told me about it. (He's a big fan of Meet the Press) He said that Bush* did a poor job and looked lost under the questioning. He said that I would have loved watching Bush* squirm in front of the camera.

If we can't find the one big story, then ten thousand little ones will work.

16. That’s actually an Excellent point!

You may have meant that as sarcasm, but its a very good point.. We are the greatest country in the world, is Bush the best person we can find to lead it?

The RNC talking point has always been that Bush is 'a straight shooter' or a 'likable guy'. Not withstanding that’s a bullshit point, but taken for their word..

Is Bush the best we can do?

He doesn’t even read the paper, and probably doesn’t read the full security reports.

He can barely even talk, and when he does its all lies.

We are a great country and can do better than that.

24. Many others including myself have said Bush is not the best we can do
LOL, it was half facetious and half truth. We CAN and SHOULD do much better.

The Bush is a Hype Prez. He was hyped before his time. As such, he is immature, poorly read, lacking of an intellectual foundation, and his communication skills severely limited.

The Sub Par Prez does it again, melted during MTP and has not recovered yet.

20. How many follow up questions were there?

Puh lease! .. Little Timmy the whore never held Bush to anything.

I'm not sure, but can you tell me one follow up question he asked the Moron?

Remember, they were there for a full hour.

How many times did Bush lie during that scripted interview? How many times did Bush lie to Tims face and he never said a word or asked a follow up question?

Compare that to the downright confrontational exchanges Russert has with any and all Democrats on MTP.

"He did a good job" ... spare me, he kissed Bush's ass just like Russert has done for every right wing idiot.

21. I some what agree...
the follow-up questions were indeed lacking, but that allowed for more opening questions, which in turn opened up a whole myriad of possibilities.

Of those possibilities, the most important, is that the media is running the follow-ups. On MTP, if follow-ups were asked, bush might, have gotten off the hook. Because he left so many things left undone, he cooked his own ass. IF, the press keeps hounding him, on ANY of the things he never answered, we are better off for it. The admin is on it's heels, keep knocking away. When one ? is exhausted, pick up ANY other that Russert left open, and the beating goes on.

bush is toast, he knows it, the nation knows it....even his loudest supporters are kicking his butt on many of the things said, and unsaid.

He is being dismantled, brick by brick.

25. Hi Rasp, good points
The man answered the questions in a feeble way. You just get the feeling he was being expedient and insincere.

His rambling was very Queegesque, missing the ball bearings is all, lol.
