Poll question: What will be the net PR effect of the Sept GOP Convention?
As you know, the GOP convention will be held in NYC in early Sept. to coincide with the horrible 9-11 attacks that were caused by Bush's incompetence.

After the Republican swine are finished pissing and spitting on the graves of the 9-11 dead, drunk with money and smugness, what will be the net effect, PR-wise?

1. it will do 2 things
it will verify the vileness and villany of the republican party to people with a brain

it will confirm the righteousness and fear for the other 50% of the population

this is a religious war, it is going to be framed as the christians vs the rest of us

its about christianizing the country and forcing us all to live by their interpretation of ancient plays

this is a very sad time, we are witnessing the end of an era of enlightenment and returning to the dark ages of religion and fear

religion is terrorism

2. Following some staged event having to do with the protests
the repugs will paint the entire left wing as violent anti-american anarchists.

3. It will be ignored as most conventions usually are
Excess and extravagance. Balloons and baloney. No one will watch.

4. I am a little more worried about our convention.
I think the haters and wingnuts who hate gay marriage will all show up and protest. Other religious nutcases will show up, too.

They might try to make it look like Chicago in 1968.

Our best bet is to let them show themselves for the haters and fools that they are. But I think the media and repugs could use it against us.
