will bush really win the nomination? the knives are coming out!
-bush is finally forced to address the awol issue.
-pay records suddenly resurface, providing more questions that answers.
-republicans are abandoning bush's pre-war justifications
-republicans are challenging bush's budget (or lack thereof) -- in an election year, for crying out loud
-stories are coming out about how atta was identified before the first 9/11 plane hit
-the mineta story of cheney saying 'of course the orders still stand' while getting a countdown of the proximity of one of the 9/11 plane that hit the pentagon

------more to come-----?????

thing is, in washington, this sort of coincidence just isn't a coincidence. i think the powers that be might have finally given the green light to replace bush before it's too late.

if this :tinfoilhat: theory is correct, the stories will continue to emerge and republicans will continue to abandon bush until bush finally gets the message beaten into him that it's over, he must pull an lbj and withdraw from the nomination process.

the republican nominee would then be determined in a smoke-filled room, true to their committement to democracy.

well, maybe this conclusion is premature -- then again, i've been saying for quite a while that if the dow ever went south of 9000, which it subsequently did, that republicans would abandon bush. after all, no sense in having a republican in the white house if you can't make money at it.

all i can say is that suddenly things are becoming verrrrry interestink!

1. That is what I am wondering too
Bush is a troubled man and why would the Republicans throw it all away when defeat seems certain? It does not look bad just for Bush, it looks bad for the whole party.

The Republican Party will morph in some way from the monster it has become.

2. they will rally around another frontman
although who ... as bush himself once said, he's really just a media creation. it takes time to create an image, and they haven't paved the way for anyone to really take his place in that sense.

so if they don't back bush, they might have to back someone with their own image, like, well, who....

mccain?
jeb??
no, i think it would have to be some governor. racicot??

i don't know. well, the skull:tinfoilhat:bones people would say that kerry's their man....

6. bush is a figurehead. He is not essential to implementation of policies

Dumping Paula Zahn and sitting Deborah Norville in her chair does not change what's written on the teleprompter.

Although you could also rewrite the script to sound more attractive. :)

7. Yes indeedy--the PTB have dizzumped Shrizzub!
They have decided the neocons are losers, and the ones who can (Perle, Oreally, Novak! Russert! even Andy Sullivan) are not eating crow yet, but the are being forced over the trough.

Who is the new darling that will be anointed as the front man for the NWO? (and I mean that in a nice way, this time, heh) My first clue was when Rand Beers and Joe Wilson backed Kerry and soon enough heads rolled and his campaign came out of the dumpster.

Remember there are two (at least) factions of the CIA, and the Joe Wilson faction seems to have decided to oust the Chimpster. Will they succeed? Tune in later--there's a war going on between the "independent" faction of the CIA and the Hawks on both sides. It might get super ugly. When this idea occurred to me a couple of days ago, my first horrified reaction was the memory of Bobby Kennedy's assassination.

BushGang doesn't play nice. And Kerry is an ancient enemy of the Bush cartel, despite their "skull brotherhood." (BCCI and Iran Contra--Kerry was key to those investigations and the Bushies don't forget)

However, given what we know of the NWO & globalism, we should be cautious--Kerry's a great guy, and seems genuine, but he too has ties to the hidden elite, whoeverTF they are; he must, being a senator, it's just part of the game. Nevertheless he takes no PAC cash, y'gotta respect that...Just my preference to choose those who would kill for truth and democracy over those who kill slaves over oil and gold. I'm funny that way. Both sides are ruthless killers. No offense, it's war...

In fact I'll declare for Kerry now, since Clark and Dean are gone (sigh!) Hip Hip Hooray! BEAT BUSH in 04!

8. The only POSSIBLE replacement ...

The only possible replacement out there with ANY chance of winning is John McCain.

I really doubt they would dump Bushie though. The Republican lie machine is still very much alive.

9. It will be bush
and it's going to be a VERY mean, dirty fight. And after what the bushs did to McCain in South Carolina and in Florida in the general election, I don't expect it to be a fair fight either.

10. no, they will assassinate any conservative who tries.
think about it...Rudy Guliani could Beat Bush in a primary just...like....THAT. But it won't happen. The GOP feel their lockstep is their only path toward survival. So they goose step to their own Armageddon in November. BUWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAA!!! (it made me feel good to think about it like that, anyway).
