That Republican strategist woman on "Hardball" tonight is a liar.

She said the Democrats are asking Bush to "Prove a negative."

No, they aren't. They are asking him to prove that he showed up for National Guard drills every time he was required. So far, he has only produced pay-stubs for nine days of service. Where are the pay-stubs for the other days he served in the dispute period, if he really served fully?

Being asked to prove a negative would be like what Bush did to John McCain in 2000, when the Bush campaign spread rumors that McCain had illegitimate children, and there was no way to prove he didn't.

All Bush is being asked to produce is records of his military service which shows he served properly.
