5. The story is over.
Clark is out so there is no reason to pump Kerry up with it anymore. Yes, it would seem that it would have helped Clark too, but it would have been impossible to decipher that there was another military man in the race throughout the story's run. I also bet we've seen the last of those polls about how kerry can beat Bush.

16. I like this statistic...
Kerry claims he's the most electable Democrat. In a head-to-head matchup with Bush, Kerry leads by 7 points (53 percent to 46 percent).

7. hmm--did you post in the wrong forum?
sorry, but as Pat Buchanan said last night, this story is alive as long as Kerry wants it alive. And Kerry is not taking an active role, so it will just keep walking as long as WE are interested in it. And I am one Democrat who would enjoy AWOL updates all the way through to November, if Kerry is the nom.

Get used to it.

12. I really don't think Kerry will ever bring it up
It will be the Bloggers such as us that hash and rehash this story for years to come. Just like we have kept it alive for three years already. It ain't dead it is just starting to get legs. People are hearing about it and as that famous old Republican saying goes: "Where there's Smoke, there's Fire."

9. Saddening....
It's too bad how Clark dropped out, hopefully he'll run as a senator or governor. And now that Clark and Moore are looking for someone to back, no one will have the guts to blast into * for being AWOL.
