Liberals Good. Neo-Conservatives Very, Very Bad..
It's amazing that "liberal" has been turned into such a dirty word while the media and its pundits have no problem with "neo-conservatives," casually referring to them as "Neo-cons" without any compulsion to actually tell the American people what Neo-Conservatives actually believe. It's disgraceful.

We must aggressively label the current administration as the dangerous, decidedly un-American Neo-Conservatives they are and back it up with what that means. I have to believe that most people would be aghast at what these criminals believe - and people would be inclined to rethink any positive opinions of Bush & co. that they may still have.

I posted GREAT excerpts about the despicable truth about what neo-conservatives actually believe, followed by a little bit about the right-wing's pro-Nazi/fascist origins (that you can print out to read, get sick over, then pass along), and posted them in the "Editorials and Other Articles" forum at:

The excerpts come from "Fascist Fantasy," which provides about 20 pages of riveting US history, located at http://www.winterboy.com/dejavu4.html

1. You are correct about Liberal being a "dirty" word
I heard a news commentator say that Kerry may be too liberal to win in November. Now what the hell did that mean, and what is wrong with being liberal? I forget who the commentator was, but he was on CNN. It is disturbing, to say the least.

2. 'progressive' sounds more positive and respectable

I tend to refer to myself as progressive because it not only sounds more "positive," but because it hasn't been completely tainted by the right-wing propaganda machine. Plus, if we're progressive, then Republicans are "regressive," which has negative connotations. Not only that, but it is true - Republicans are regressive.. not to mention oppressive.

3. Link to main intro and index

Here's the index/intro link to "DejaVu: The Struggle Between Two Americas"

http://www.winterboy.com/dejavu.html

Here's some opening quotes from it:

"Look, our strategy is to create chaos, to create a vacuum...We will export death and violence to the four corners of the earth in defense of our great nation." President George W Bush, 2002.

"If we let our vision of the world go forth (PNAC), and we embrace it entirely, and we don’t try to piece together clever diplomacy but just wage total war, our children will sing great songs about us years from now." Richard Perle, Chairman, Bush Defense Policy Board- called by Beltway insiders 'The Prince of Darkness.'
