Serious question: Why aren't Dems calling for *'s Impeachment?
Edited on Wed Feb-11-04 02:05 AM by Truth Hurts A Lot
Wouldn't the Repubs do us the same favor if it was a Democrat who f*cked up so drastically?

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell and Rice didn't ask Americans to go to war--to send more than 500 of our young men and women to their graves--based on circumstantial evidence. They said they were sure; most of us believed them. Moreover, the CIA didn't make the case for war--the Gang of Five did. But thanks to a compliant media, America remains befuddled. A mere 43 percent of respondents to a USA Today poll believe that Bush deliberately misled them about Iraq's WMDs. Perhaps that's because even Democratic leaders are afraid to say what needs to be said: Bush lied about what he knew about Iraq and should be impeached.

Even if the impeachment falls through, at the very least, Americans would have no choice but to see how much of a liar Bush is. I think giving Bush a free pass on this one, and allowing him to blame the CIA, is a HUGE mistake.

3. His neck is exposed
If we pass up the opportunity to expose him for what he really is, we may never get the chance to! Also, how many more people will die if Bush is allowed to roam free, unchecked?

5. Because there's an election in nine months,
and there's no way he'd be impeached by the Repub Congress anyway.

6. He does not deserve to finish up those nine months
If Gov. Davis could be replaced eight or so months into his term, then we can impeach Bush nine months before his term ends.

This is not simply about politics for me. I really am hurt and saddened by his betrayal. Its bad enough he may have stolen the election, but his actions over the past few years have been over the top. Its an insult, and he should not be allowed to continue this farce any longer. Americans do NOT understand the seriousness of Bush's crimes. The majority of the people I know do dislike Bush, but they don't realize how much Bush has betrayed them. He has got to go, and we must get the message out there BEFORE he begins to spend his $200+ million (soft money) dollars. We cannot allow him to run for office in November as if he served his term with integrity.

8. But there are two problems with impeachment now
One: Even if we could get enough support for it, it would not matter because it would take several months. But, that is a moot point, because there clearly isn't enough support in the government for this.

Two: All the RNC really needs for a fundraiser is a letter discussing how those evil Democrats are trying to demonize our Godly, brave, fearless leader.

7. The only question bush* gave a yes or no answer to on MTP
Was 530 deaths of American soldiers and 3000 injuries worth going going to war in Iraq? bush* said yes. That in itself is enough to kick his lying rear back to that hellhole he calls home in Crawford Texas.

for lower gas prices.

We suck. Well at least 50% (MoE) of us do. Our so called "librul" media doesn't help us much in figuring things out. We’ll see.

If these Repuke thugs aren't thrown out in this election, I'm applying for citizenship in Canada, Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, etc. I can only hope they'll accept my US passport and political refugee plea.

Fuck the Puritans. Let them fuck themselves. What a concept. What a country. Goodbye.
