What the FUCK IS THE POINT IF HE ISNT OBLIGATED TO ANSWER ANYTHING?

Why dont they just boycott the briefing because they are worthless and just write hit pieces until they get an answer? Eventually they will give the answers unless they want a barrage of negative press...


Can someone explain to me why anyone plays along? And I understand they want access but they dont HAVE any fucking access! They might as well be asking these questions to a fucking tape recorder!

If I was a reporter I would walk out and just write a piece explaining that McClellan is a lying sack of shit and that Bush obviously went AWOL because all of the answers were complete garbage.

I'd like to add one thing though - the press seems to be turning up the heat a little bit. Not a lot, mind you, but they don't seem to be dutifully nodding that much anymore.

This whole administration is on the ropes, that's why this afternoon's press conference was awesome. The other thing that's hilarious, a point which the Republicans don't seem to comprehend, is that they are insisting that the president didn't go AWOL for NATIONAL GUARD duty during some of the heaviest days of Vietnam. They don't understand that even when they defend him, they admit he was as far away from combat as humanly fucking possible. HAHAHAHA>

a. They're sick of *, want him out, and are going to help with that goal
b. They're getting pissed that Scotty won't let them do their jobs
