5. I'm voting NO and NO
Prop 57: Ahnold cut taxes by $4 Bil. and now wants to pass the bill on to the next generation. Lets deal with the problems now. Vote No.

Prop 58: Loopholes galore. Allows for the 1st time, bond measures to cover discretionary spending. Normally bond measures are only for parks, roads, schools, etc., not for things like paying back last years debt. Vote NO.

6. Thanks Left..
I wonder why Boxer and "feindsteen" and Torres are urging a yes vote?? Something nasty gonna happen otherwise? Are the Dems being "threatened"? Thanks all, for your replies, btw.

7. Here is my take
yes 55-Public Education Fac. Bond Act of 2004
We need our schools to succeed.

maybe yes 56-State Budget, Related Taxes and Reserve
Permits enactment of budget and budget-related tax/appropriation bill with 55% vote.
The forfeit may go against the wrong elected officials, but...

no 57-California Economic Recovery Bond Act
This is the same bill that Davis had shot down in court. Schwarzenegger is now trying the same thing for more money. Just cannot see it.

no 58-California Balanced Budget Act
California already has a balanced budget mandate. This gives the Republicans an ax to cut all social spending. Useless.

8. NO & NO on the RECALL too!!!! No on F !!! NO MORE RECALLS!!!
Don't give Ahnuld the gropenazi his way! No, NO, NOOOO!!!!!

Also, I heard him say that the VLFs could be repealed because we are not in a state of emergency (the State of California). However, if these bonds don't pass, we will be in a state of emergency, thus the gropenazi will have no choice but to reinstate the VHF's! Did the people get lied to AGAIN!

Glad I didn't fall for this crap and NO on F - Gallegos deserves to KEEP his duly won seat as District Attorney up north. He won by a landside and the timber companies are paying people to live in a Motel 6 and register to vote! HELL IS BREWING EVERYWHERE!

NO ON F in Humboldt County!

In the meantime, be sure to check this site out!!!!

10. I'm torn
Many very necessary services will be cut if the funds are not there including healthcare for the poor.

I'm leaning towards rejecting both measures to force BOTH parties to raise taxes on the rich but I really doubt that will happen.

13. I'm voting no on 57 and 58
I think we need to raise taxes instead of passing on these costs to future generations. Plus, I don't want to bail Arnie out.

I am completely in favor of 56. The budget battles are too much in the Legislature with the requirement for a supermajority. It would make it much easier to pass the budget and not force the majority party to give away so much pork to get the budget passed.

16. I'm voting NO on all
of the propositions. I don't see why the voters of CA should have to bail out the groper. The groper claimed that he was going to straighten out the mess, so let him do it, he wanted the job. If the groper wasn't so busy removing the so-called car 'tax' for his rich buddies like Leno he would have some money left for the state.
