We need to ask about Rush and O'reilly's service records
since they are about the same age as Bush. Chaney, Ashcroft wouldn't hurt either. Just to make a point about these dogs-of-war.

3. check http://www.awolbush.com
and link to chickenhawk list

Rush - exempt because of anal cyst

Cheney - 4 college deferments and 1 child deferment - has said he 'had more important things to do'

Ashcroft - college, law school deferment - was then given a job teaching at a MO college and they reported his job was 'essential'

DeLay - said at republican convention in 88 that he wanted to serve in Vietnam but all the slots had been taken by minorities'?!?!?!?!?!?

Dan Quayle - used family connections to get into National Guard but did fulfill his commitment

MY QUESTION - where were Jeb, Neil, and Marvin???????

6. We should not give it back to them
I'm all for beating on the bush as they say, but let's focus on important matters.

We are in a war right now, a war that some men might want to dodge if Bush is re-elected and starts the draft. Should we hammer anyone who in 20 years about this potential issue?

Personally, I feel like we should be asking about the WAR RIGHT NOW--not the one from 30 years ago. I don't care that Bush AWOLed and the middle liners (the ones that need to be converted) aren't gonna care either. They are gonna think "Big deal, 30 years ago--is that the best they can do".

And it is not the best we can do. Lets focus on CURRENT WAR, ECONOMY, HOMELAND SECURITY (or lack thereof). IMHO, This is another red herring by the repubs to remove our focus from what is happening now.

7. It matters, especially when soldiers go AWOL - what will President AWOL do
to them, huh?

We must remember and recite. Not just say "that's the past, let it be."

But you're right, we do need to hammer strong at the current situation.

But if my parents didn't know until a week ago that President Apostate* was a AWOL Coward, you can bet your sweet bippy others are equally in the dark. They must know. Every American MUST know. President Apostate is beyond description when it comes to war-related issues and has no credibility of any sort... going back to his own military roots only strength our position.
