1. As "charming" as Bush allegedly is,

and as wild he was at the time, one would think that lots of people would have come forward with memories of their time in the AL Nat'l Guard with him.

How odd it is, therefore, that:
His superior officers don't remember seeing him,
His fellow soldiers don't remember seeing him,
and
There is no record of his having shown up for duty.

If the FCC can spend taxpayer money investigating Janet Jackson's right tit, certainly some government agency can examine this matter. One would think Bush would want this stain on his character removed... guess not.

Just reported on MSNBC that even in 1968 Bush was well known because of his father and that there were articles written in local papers about him.

5. one more time: how could he serve in ALA ?
I thought his transfer to Alabama was denied? If so, how could he show up get credit for time spent in Alabama?
