Bush has trump card to re-election
I hope I'm wrong, but I have a growing feeling that the Bush-Cheney cartel has a trump card in waiting to assure the election next Fall. There's too many powerful interests that have too much to lose if the Dems win.
I think they pretty much know where Osama Bin Laden is, and are going to wait until just the right moment (convention time or thereafter) to send in "black-ops" to snatch him. They could probably get him now, but the effect would'nt last long enough. Even though that shouldn't matter considering all the other crap Bush has done, I think it would push him over the top for the "average" American. Wish me wrong!

5. Agree
Even if they can pull the binladen out of the hat they are history. Recently * has had to meet up with major donors several times to try to reassure them all is in control. He would not be at these meetings if all was well. Neither would he dare go on MTP.
Now is the time for the Dems to frame their arguments and stick to them!

7. Let's hope...
I'm just being realistic. If at the last minute, they were to stage a "made for TV movie" style capture... I remeber how ignorant people acted after 911 and Sadam's capture... if they timed it right, it might work. I hope not!! Cause I think otherwize, Bush may be sunk.

22. I think you are right
going on MTP was risky and he failed, apparently. It was a desperation move because his handlers know he is stupid and not up to the challenge. All he has done in these past three years is a let's pretend photo op, geared to make him appear as if he knows what he is doing and knows what is going on. It was all a phonied up PR event--everything--just like the strut on the USS Lincoln--all phoney and now, all that is left is for him to appear and try to look as though he knows what he is speaking about--apparently this was a huge mistake--he looks like he does not know a thing except what mantras he has been coached to memorize.

What a sorry mess he is.

2. Trump card?
Maybe a four of diamonds, but it's no face card anymore.

Way, way too late for that.

4. BBV/Diebold + Osama captured + the Corporate Media
could very well do it. But it seems Bush's chance of getting elected is slimmer by the day.

11. The dates on the trees dates Saddam capture to 3 months before Dec - so
it appears Bush is not above faking something for political value.

It (the dates on the trees in the "Dec" capture photos) also appears to prove that wire services can be made to support Bush lies by dating their photos as asked by Bush.

24. Keep Reminding McCain about 2000 in SC
somebody needs to start replaying what went down in SC along with the AWOL story contrasting Weasel Bush with someone who actually did serve

6. The only way for bush to stay in office....
is to steal it again. The people are wise to his incompetance and are tired of the bullshit. Parading Osama around may only hurt him more because it will look like what it is. Just another deceitful attempt to stay in office.

9. Why? Finding Saddam didn't help him
He would have to pull out Osama at the last minute, and that would look very suspicious

15. "We have captured my family's long-time business partner
and former CIA operative, Osama bin Laden. My first action has been to present Osama with the bill for that big private plane we used to fly his family out of the USA right after September 11. My second action has been to sue him for breach of contract. After all, only 3 of the 4 planes we were counting on to hit their targets in our "new Pearl Harbor" did so. Next question?" - bush the chimp

16. Someone posts this idea...
.... almost every day.

IMHO, finding Osama Been Forgotten is not going to result in massive changes of opinion about Bush*. Finding Saddam gave him a temporary boost, and then only a few points.

Bush's best chance for recovery would be a really strong economic upturn. But, that's one October Surprise I don't think he can deliver.

18. It's called the "October Surprise"!
I would not be surprised if they send him out on a mission, to bring terror to a city in America and capture him there....either before he "sets it off" or while he is getting away. This way, they get the boost from capturing him and they can raise the terror alert level to RED, which reads that you are under 24 hour curfew. No one can leave their homes. No way to get to the voting places, so no election. Sorry, but "they" hate us so much that they have taken even our election away. Remain calm and as soon as this emergency is over, we will hold the elections. Rudi said he was going to do that...but backed down. Trial balloon?

Hope I am just worrying over nothing, but I think we have to think 100 steps ahead of them, which is not too hard. We just got caught before, but now we are warned of what they will do!

A cornered animal is dangerous!

21. I won't say that you're wrong, I'll just mention this:
the Bushistas' record of competence in the War on Terra. They might be as confident in grabbing bin Laden in October as they were in finding (or planting) WMDs in Iraq. That doesn't mean that it will happen.

Consider: in 'capturing' Saddam, first the Mossad found out where he was, then the Kurds dug him up. They can't assume that they'll have such serendipitous help next October; and they may have pissed off both Israel and the Kurds to much by then, anyway.
