such a hard time - Terry Moran?

Who does he work for?

Will he find a horse head in his bed tomorrow?

19. you got that right; is pathological an appropriate word for their behavior
someone must know that the doctored documents are coming, the media just sets the tone needed for the White House to do their thing... even some bona fide files appear to be coming showing him being "paid" while, in fact, he was derelict in duty ... paid = he was there just not in person ...

these are not the values I want in a leader

We continue to compare favorably with otyher Totalitarian Medias of history.

Neither the Nazi nor Commie media would have EVER, even 20 years later, asked these question of Hitler or Stalin. Filip media would NEVER have asked such questions of Ferdinand Marcos!

service point documents.

But, they show pay for the time his superiors in Texass say '... has not been observed at this unit.' when filling out his officer eval form.

Something's fishy. Looks like the shirking chimp got paid for not working. Welfare for the rich.

6. McClellan is a moron
He keeps acting like all that has gone before is news to him.

He wonders where the document that states '...not observed at this unit' comes from, as if he's never heard of that report before.

Partisan political advantage. As if that negates the deserters actions.

What a bunch of moral cowards.

(on edit): Let's sing it together, Scott:

"These documents clearly show that the president fulfilled his duties''
"You are paid for the dates you served"

"You are paid for the dates you served"

(won't answer) other than referring all
questions back to the blurry unreadable

What kind of drills did AWOL perform?
Who were his guard buddies?
Who does AWOL remember reporting to?

AWOL is going to be asked these questions
throughout his campaign now....I wonder
how Rove is going to try to avoid this?

At last AWOL is being made to be accountable
in a way where no one can rescue him.

62. "rOve is screwing up big time."
I agree, the problem repugs have in the long term
is that they (1)overreach, (2)misread the pulse of the
common person, (3)and stubbornly stick to the same
methods and tactics.

Their tricks work in the short term but long term
they doom themselves.

I think "rOve" (I like the spelling) will soon switch
his tactics to destroying Kerry, the problem he will
have here is that Kerry handlers are wise to his
methods and will remain on the offensive. I think our
side is learning something about "framing the issues"
something the repugs have been doing successfully for
many years.

Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 01:42 PM by Tripper11
He had/has a repuation for being completely unshakeable. Always serious when on camera no matter what's going on around him. One time, the crew decided to try and make him crack..while on live tv doing a story, someone snuck up behind him, reached between his legs and grabbed his balls, surely gauranteed to elicit a response from the king of stoic reporting. NO LUCK..he didn't even miss a beat!

66. It sounds like a "no show" job
IF the records are not fake, which is another possibility for folks so intimately connected with intelligence agencies.

McLellan kept waving the document around saying "he was paid--these records prove it--so he fulfilled his responsibilities". It would be just like the Bush gang to have Shrub paid for not showing up...the Sopranos do it all the time.
