Here's why the missing military records story doesn't fly
People in those families where presidents are raised save every cotton-picking scrap of paper, every photo, every piece of family record. Why? So it can all be put in the presidential library someday.

Look at the crap in Poppy's library. Handwritten notes, invitations, yadda. MILLIONS of documents.

And we're supposed to believe that W's MILITARY records went missing and nothing was kept by the family? His records from the guard duty he's so proud of? The WAR president's records??

Please. Oh, please.

2. Of course
We're SUPPOSED to believe everything * says. Otherwise we're traitors. Allegiance is supposed to be given to the President, not the country.

3. well, no, not if it's damaging
damaging info is scrubbed, shredded or destroyed so it DOESN'T wind up in the presidential library.

i'm quite certain that when they embarked on launching shrub's political career, they scoured the books, public and otherwise, for damaging info and destroyed as much as possible.

4. Both Mr. and Mrs. Chimp's Texas driving records were
purged also. Bushes have plenty to hide it seems. Also seems that they are never ever held accountable for their actions.

5. You're right - and he was the only spawn to serve
Wouldn't you think this would be a thing of pride for Poppy and Babs - their oldest and only son to serve in the military? To be another fly-boy like Poppy - and yet - they can't find his records?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

8. Hey, on MTP he said his people "scoured the records"
I don't know why people don't take him at his word. They were scoured. Therefore not available, not there to be found.

He also said he was a "war president." I dunno why people say he's a liar. I believe him. A war president indeed.

10. The Military Record Keeping, ranks right up there with...
Religious zealotry!

Finance records are kept separately from 201 files, and Medical Records are kept separate.

They are all microfiche'd, put onto disk, tape and hard copies make it to the Records Dept.

There are ways to check and re-check then double check military records. A DD-214 can be had in less than 12 hours if requested by the president, sometimes sooner.

NO ONE would 'lose' their flight records, promotions, med records, citations, etc. If they can find by name and SN# all of those that were involved in nuclear testing during the '40's-50's, they sure as hell can find bush's "lost weekend". It is pure BS and he knows it!

12. This is very true...
Most vets know, that an Honorable D/C is the norm. However, a General or Other than Honorable Conditions can be appealed at a later date. The only one that can't be appealed is Dishonorable, and the few that get them, don't get out of Leavenworth too quickly.

Another anomaly is the part where the question about arrests is blacked out. That is defacing documents, (The reason a single line is drawn through errors, is to avoid this), and is a felony under Federal Law. Wonder who did that little gem?
