Gore being savaged on Faux over speech
Kondracke saying we must thank God that Al Gore was "not elected," because he's wondering whether he's mentally stable. They're showing Gore's recent speech where's he's "screaming."

Agreed
But this particular program is resorting more and more to suggesting that any Dem candidate that raises his voice or makes a comment that goes against their ideology must be mentally unbalanced. I can't tell you how many times they've pulled this. It's particularly blatant, coming right after the Dean episode. Usually it's Krauthammer who says it. This time the duty fell to Kondracke.

16. old Soviet strategy: label political opponents mentally ill
the Fox guys and the GOP are of that exact same authoritarian mentality, and they are also afraid.

So of course the only thing they can resort to is the mental illness rap, just like the old Soviet Union.

4. Must be like that speech of Deans
Gore must be angry.
Gore must be pissed he isn't prez.

All Americans should be just as Pissed as Gore and Dean are.

5. They REALLY have latched onto that Soviet "mental illness" meme
It's sick to watch these Free-Market Stalinists wave their true colors.

They are just Soviets with a different rationale as to why the guys who's boots THEY are licking are especially tasty.

"Tastes like Liberty..."

On the other hand, and considering that Faux is the modern analog of the Nazi Sub-Media, one might expect such a Fair and Balnced discussion.

Conversely, a Nazi radio discussion regarding the Jews' role in German society would be EQUALLY (not ONE WHIT more or less) FairUndBalanced...

6. He got their attention.
Earlier today Tucker Carlson was apoplectic trying to equate the use of the word betrayal with being a traitor. Get the lad a dictionary, then slap him up beside the head with it. Repeatedly. Unto eternity.

17. I love watching Fucker try to act all offended and outraged
when Great Leader is challenged.

Sadly, I believe he would turn on a dime and shill for Satan if the price was right.

7. First Dean was Gored, now Gore's been Deaned.
In otherwords, if you are passionate you are *unstable* pathetic.

8. An old plan
During the primaries Rove couldn't attack McCain on patriotism so they resorted to a whisper "Mentally unstable" campaign.

And since it seemed to have an effect on Dean, why not try it on everyone? Hey they've got sound equipment, filter the background and crank it up! Can we add a French accent?

9. Don't worry...
These assholes are SO irrelevant IMO - I am listening also and as usual they are only singing to their choir.

No educated non right winged nut type of a person watches FOX and views what they have to present as actual "reporting".

If you ask me those wingers are panicked because they think their boy can't get re-elected against a war hero.

10. In 2000 my husband hated politics with a passion! But, I dragged him
to vote and he grudgingly voted for Gore. When he saw the speech he said, "that guy should be running". I was shocked. He is an "all politicians suck (except DK)" kind of guy.

So, if faux was looking to make Gore look bad, it had the total opposite effect in our house. We were damn proud to watch Gore kick the chimps ass for a 2nd time! Really, that statement from my husband means alot.

13. What a fuckin* jackass Kondracke is
Tonight, I lost all respect for him for the 37,382nd time. He makes me want to barf :puke:
Suggesting Gore was mentally unstable, for speaking words that we all have been speaking for months. Get with it Mortie. 52% of the fuckin* country is NOT mentally unstable. You people are wrong. you always have been wrong. It's just catching up with you now. Don't be such a miserable desperate loser. Prepare to lose graciously, or prepare to lose ugly. It's your choice.

15. It's continuing on Hannity & Colmes
They're running, side-by-side, pictures of Dean's and Gore's speeches and turning up the volume. Allan Colmes led the segment, with Dem. Congressman Dennis DeConcini(sp?) and Alfonse Demato yukking it up.

The Repug blast faxes must be in full force.

I'm gonna go watch a movie.
