OMG another dumb conservative view point
This was found on another message board where people were debating about protesters in america. Read this idiot:

"All fucking protesters should be flogged IMHO. They are detroying America. I'm sick of the negativity. Instead of protesting, why don't these "people" go out and try to make a difference in their community rather than stirring shit up. Most of them only care about there own little agenda and to hell with everyone else."

Unreal!!!!
If it wasn't for protesters child labor and slavery and a ton of other injustices would still exist in the US. If it wasn't for liberal minds we'd still be living in caves!

1. Direct action does make a difference in the community.
One of the few ways we have left.

4. This person is such a dumbass. Where I live,
it's the people who protest who are also the ones who work the community kitchen, who sponsor a book program for prisoners, who work with the non-profit agencies in town, for instance, one which helps people with mental and physical disabilities to particpate in the community, who are ministers at churches who don't preach hate, who volunteer to work at the public library...

...and that's just off the top of my head.

I was at a benefit for the above mentioned organization for people with disabilities, and I had to laugh because I thought that just about everyone I knew in my city was there.

I didn't see any republican city officials, though they may have been there. I did see at least half a dozen democratic ones, though.

The richer and more self-satisfied Americans are, I've seen more and more, the less giving and caring they are within the community. I could be wrong, but it seems that the republicans want to isolate themselves in their "faith-based" institutions where they can try to force everyone to believe what they believe...

a power issue, in other words, and not at all about loving and caring about people as they are where they are.

So, I'm all for the people who protest because they also seem to be, overwhelmingly, the ones who are also giving the most back to their community, at least in my community.

5. this poster hates America, and hates the Constitution
the same one that gives us the right to peaceably assemble, and petition the gov't for a redress of greivances

perhaps he would be happier in Iraq? It used to be illegal to speak out against Saddam, now it's illegal to make "anti-coalition statements"

sounds like he would be right at home there, under either tyrant

7. Wasn't our country founded because of protests?
If our forefathers hadn't protested back in the 1700's we'd still all be speaking English!

12. Let me think about this for a second...
OK, done.

MLK and the rest of us that protested for Civil Rights, WERE often flogged; so was Ghandi; so was Jesus.

Those of us that fight to ensure that EVERYONE in this country has the same rights under the law, should all be flogged, quite often we are.

Those that protest against the protesters, should they be flogged as well, perhaps more, just to equal it out, (there never seem to be more of "them" on the lines).

I pay little attention to people like this; 'even a fool may seem wise, if he keeps his mouth shut'.

O8)

13. Part 2
I blasted back at the Nazi and this is what he wrote back:

"With a country of liberals who don't have the balls to stand up and fight, that is precisely what we will end up with. They will pick up a picket sign to protest those who are defending the contitution that gives thm the right to protest those who fight to keep us free, fuck them."

SAD!
