2. Carville said it looks like he was AWOL and that
makes him a traitor, then Tucker made him back out of the traitor remark, which Carville said that history would judge. I wish he hadn't backed down.

9. Carville is on fire!
"The noose of history is around the neck of this administration."

I don't think he backed down either.

And the "no elected republican" called any dem unpatriotic and calling Bush a traitor and unpatriotic is over the top.

I guess we can assume that republicans who were NOT elected can call us traitors?

15. Funding was cut during the mid 1990s for human intelligence?
that is what Drier just said.

I'll research it, but it is possible that Republicans could have cut funding for it.

a question, and the person starts answering him, then Tucker doesn't like the answer so he starts talking over his answers?

What a prick!

21. Tucker was seriously prickish today
He knows he's going down.

He furiously tried to get a Dem to call Bush a traitor. No one did, but Tucker kept claiming they did. He said that Carville called Bush a traitor (he didn't), he said that Gore called Bush a traitor (he didn't) and he said that Meehan called Bush a traitor (he didn't).

23. Here's an elected Republican calling a Democratic unpatriotic
http://24hour.sacbee.com/24hour/special_reports/iraq/story/1089109p-7608018c.html

McDermott, for one, appeared to call President Bush's truthfulness into question, saying, "I think the president would mislead the American people," while at the same time suggesting the word of the Iraqi regime should be taken at "face value."

The remarks were quickly seized on by some Republicans as evidence that the Democrats could not be trusted with important national security matters.

"Jim McDermott's remarks in Iraq are unconscionable, unpatriotic and unAmerican," said Rep. Sam Johnson (R-Texas), a former prisoner of war in Vietnam. "You can't go cavorting around with the enemy and be a great American."
